Featured Artist - Anthony Asch

Right now we're featuring the work of one of our talented employees. Combining a love of painting with his many years experience making tile for Pratt & Larson Anthony Asch has created a series of very painterly ceramic tile. Working from sketches often done "en plein air" his new series of tile depicts landscapes both rural and urban.

There are a number of pieces available in the showroom for immediate sale but I'd suggest you make an appointment to work with the artist himself and have a custom piece created. Anthony can work with images of your home or your favorite landscape views to create a custom panel in the size and colors needed for your project. How often do you get a chance like that?

Stop by the showroom and see all the changes we've been making! There are new floor pads, two new vignettes in progress and new displays in every room.  Plus you can now follow our blog by email! Sign up in the top right corner of the blog and you'll get all our new blog posts directly to your inbox.

Tile for Your Mid-Century Home

Do you have a Mid-Century home that needs some period appropriate tile? Or maybe you just love that retro look and want to add a touch of another time to your decor. We have a great selection of tile to fit the bill - whether you want atomic patterns in pink and turquoise or a more contemporary take on the clean lines and streamlined shapes of the era. Check out this article by designer Robin Fisher written for NW Renovations magazine. She discusses the difference between Modern and Contemporary and tile choices across the decades from the 40's to the 60's.

Here's a quick sampling of the Mid-Century inspired tile available in our showroom, along with links to the manufacturers websites. Of course the best way to see all we have to offer is to come on in and work with our great sales staff to find the right look for your project, be it your 1925 bungalow, your 1953 ranch house or your brand new condo.

The Revival 60's line from Mission Tile West offers a fabulous assortment of decos in customizable color combinations. Make a real splash with that back splash or cover a whole wall in a repeating pattern for a great Mod wallpaper look.
